Friends and Family of Frederick L. Peters
Mr. Frederick L. Peters graduated from Shippensburg State College having earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration in 1966 and 1975 respectively. Mr. Peters spent over 20 years of his professional career employed by Shippensburg University. In 1966, Mr. Peters began his career at Shippensburg University as an accountant, rising to the executive level as director of budget and controller in 1987. This was the position he held until he passed away in 1992.
Mr. Peters was a three-term member of the Shippensburg Area School District Board of Directors, was chair of the Finance Committee, served on the Athletic Board of Control, and was the district's representative on the Board of Directors of the Shippensburg Area Development Corporation, and supported his beloved alma mater.
