There are many different scholarships based on a variety of criteria including academic merit, financial need, program of study, and geographic location among others. Please note, not all scholarships are available each year.

The 1981 Football Team Scholarship is for incoming freshmen student-athletes who intend to become members in good standing of Shippensburg University’s football team. Each recipient must also meet all applicable NCAA, PSAC, and Shippensburg University regulations. This scholarship is awarded through SU Athletics.

The recipient of the Christopher Heilman World Cup Award must be a member in good standing of Shippensburg University's football team. This scholarship is for full-time incoming first-year students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education:Pre-kindergarten-fourth grade or Art Education. Recipients of this one year scholarship must be a student-athlete who is a member in good standing of the women’s intercollegiate basketball program at Shippensburg University. A recipient must meet all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional eligibility regulations and financial aid requirements.
