Margaretta Snoke Bolich
Margaretta Snoke Bolich was born and raised in Franklin County. As a youngster, she learned in a one-room schoolhouse. After graduating from high school in Chambersburg, she earned a teaching degree from Shippensburg State College (now Shippensburg University) and a master's degree in education from Pennsylvania State University. She taught for the Chambersburg School District, Kutztown State College, Exeter Township School District, and the Tri-Valley School District, holding supervisory and principal positions until retirement in 1993.
