John and Debbie Knutelsky
John and Debbie Knutelsky have a strong family legacy at Shippensburg University and have been deeply connected to the Shippensburg community for many years. John attended Shippensburg High School and graduated from Shippensburg University in 1980. Following graduation, John worked for an international organization, traveled the world, and chose to return to Shippensburg to raise his family. John and Debbie believe Shippensburg is a hidden jewel and established this scholarship in 2020 to foster growth for student-athletes to become connected and active members of the Shippensburg community. John and his father share a love of football, and this scholarship is a way for them to give back to the university, community, and sport that they love.
