Mrs. Ruth Wierman Evinger
The Strine/Stoner Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Mrs. Ruth Wierman in memory of her sisters Mrs. Mary Wierman Stoner and Mrs. Margaret Wierman Strine. Both Mrs. Stoner and Mrs. Strine graduated from Cumberland Valley State Normal School in 1923 and 1925 respectively. The scholarship will be given to students majoring in Education, the field in which both Mrs. Stoner and Mrs. Strine were educated and worked. Maintaining the family's belief in the importance of higher education, Mrs. Evinger hopes to help future generations receive a quality education.
