Amey Sgrignoli
The Bright Future College of Business Scholarship was established by Amey Fisher Sgrignoli ’90, ’13M to enable a deserving student to achieve post-secondary education through the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University. In the current environment, having advanced education is key to vocational success and career growth for the future. Education increases the probability of a more sustainable financial future for young people who are beginning to build a future for themselves. A student accepted for enrollment to the Shippensburg University John L. Grove College of Business who demonstrates leadership, initiative, self-reliance and an interest in volunteer community service will be considered as a candidate for this scholarship.
Amey Fisher Sgrignoli graduated from Shippensburg University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership in 2013. She is currently the president and CEO of Belco Community Credit Union in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Amey volunteers her time serving on various boards for trade associations, economic development, and nonprofit associations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Credit Union Association, the CrossState Credit Union Association, and Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation. Amey is also a member of the John L. Grove College of Business Advisory Board. Other past and present community service includes PA Sister Society of the Global Women’s Leadership Network, Mission Central, American Heart Association, and the Kidney Foundation of Central PA. Sgrignoli is a graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society’s CEO Institute and has a Senior Certified Professional designation from the Society of Human Resources.
