	Pi Sigma Alpha This scholarship was established in 1983 by Pi Sigma Alpha (the political science honor society), in memory of Joan L. Hilkert, past president, fellow student, and friend. Joan was a member of the Class of 1983 majoring in Public Administration. Her life ended tragically from automobile accident in 1983, while returning home from a Pi Sigma Alpha banquet in Shippensburg.
