James A. Gehr
James (Jim) A. Gehr graduated from Shippensburg University in 1983 and received his Pennsylvania CPA license in 1985. In 1991, Jim entered the emerging industry of Supply Chain Management. He has been a leader in the industry for over 25 years, working with many of the non-financial fortune 500 companies. He has served on the Shippensburg University John L. Grove College of Business Advisory Board since 2007. Jim believes that Shippensburg University provided him with quality education and development experiences necessary for his pursuit of a high quality of life that balanced a successful professional career. He regularly reflects on the investment his father made to support him at Shippensburg University and desires to contribute to society by helping other achieve a quality education that will enable them to pursue their dreams and life goals. Jim encourages scholarship recipients to think big and continuously set goals throughout their life, because those goals will be met and regularly exceeded with focus and commitment.
