	Robert E. "Bucky" Ward This scholarship was established in 2007 by Robert E. “Bucky” Ward. In 1977, after graduating with a B.S. Degree in Business Education from Shippensburg State College, Bucky returned home to Allentown and was immediately hired as a teacher at his high school alma mater, Parkland School District. As a member of numerous championship football and baseball teams at Parkland High School, and a member of Shippensburg's 1976 Pennsylvania State Co-Championship football team, Bucky Ward also quickly acquired a football coaching position at Parkland High School. A􀄺er several years of teaching and coaching, he joined the corporate business world and accepted a position with IBM. While working in the Central PA area during the mid-1980s, he reconnected with Shippensburg University when he enrolled in the college's MBA program and quickly found that his corporate business experience was highly valued by the students, faculty, and administrative staff.
