Jack Petruno

In memory of their brother and friend, The Scott Alan Petruno Foundation Committee, comprised of family members and close friends, established the Scott Alan Petruno Memorial Scholarship to honor the memory of a special family member who died unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident in 2003 at the age of 37. This scholarship was established to honor Scott's memory.
Scott Alan Petruno lost his father at the tender age of 11. He was the youngest of four Petruno siblings. Despite the financial and emotional hardship that this loss caused for the Petruno children, in his zest for life Scott persevered with his secondary and postsecondary education. He graduated from Shippensburg University in 1987 with a degree in Math & Computer Science. Scott earned a master's degree at Villanova University. In his career, he led two companies.
Scott had a passion for learning and education. He was a loyal friend and loved his family dearly. He became a man of ambition, courage, and integrity, and he had a compassionate spirit and a giving, humble heart. Scott's family and close friends want to honor his memory by helping others in
their pursuit of education. The establishment of this scholarship is a perpetual tribute to Scott and will help countless students receive a quality education.
