	Celeste F. Johnson This scholarship was established in memory of Jameel Johnson by his mother, Celeste Johnson. Celeste was a non-traditional student who received her undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University in 1996 and earned her master's degree from Ship in 2003. Both Celeste and Jameel loved Shippensburg University, and both knew the value of higher education. Celeste inspired her son to consider a tour of military duty, as she had served in the military as well. This scholarship is intended to support an upper division student who has contracted into the ROTC program at Shippensburg University and demonstrates a focused intent to serve as a commissioned officer in the United States Army.
