Dr. Eveline Lang
Dr. Eveline Lang, Associate Professor of Human Communication Studies at Shippensburg University, established this scholarship in memory of her friend, Brian Christman. A native of Ohio, Brian studied opera at Ohio University in the 1980s and was known for his powerful, four-octave range. He had a passion for the arts and graduated from culinary school in Chicago. Brian’s zest for life, his devotion to his family and friends, and his deep appreciation for the transformative power of the arts continues to inspire those who knew him. It is hoped that the recipient of this scholarship will be dedicated to enriching people’s lives as they explore and refine their talents and deepen their appreciation for performance art.
