W.J. Wollyung III
William J. Wollyung III graduated from Shippensburg University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and went on to earn his CPA license in 1987. Initially, he joined the firm of Ernst & Young, and after eighteen months, he then joined Smoker, Smith & Associates, PC. It was there he gained a complete understanding of what it took to run and manage a business from start-up through various levels of an entity's growth.
In 1992, he joined the Aegis Security Insurance Company. He began his career with Aegis as the Controller, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 1998, which has led to his current role as President/CEO. During his tenure, Bill led the development and implementation of a long-term strategic plan across the entire group that supported controlled profitable growth devoted to risk management and customer relationships for which the company was founded.
Shippensburg University was the foundation that opened doors to a successful career, and Mr. Wollyung established this endowed scholarship to help current students achieve their dreams and career goals.
