John L. Grove
John L. Grove was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. John and his older brothers started a business building farm wagons, which eventually developed into a hydraulics crane company. Ultimately, John's development and business skills catapulted the company into the world crane market. John held over 60 patents at the end of his career. He and his wife, Cora, were community leaders, serving on many boards and councils. John was awarded a Doctor of Laws from Shippensburg University and the John L. Grove College of Business is named after him in recognition of his philanthropy and business acumen.
