Eleanor H. Ford
This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Jack Ford by his wife, Eleanor Ford, and sons, Brian and Tim Ford. Dr. Ford was a professor in the Geography-Earth Science Department at Shippensburg University for 24 years. He was involved in many local government efforts and had an interest in a wide range of planning and regional topics. Dr. Ford was a dedicated professor, but also a friend and mentor of students who stayed connected with him long after the graduated. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his former students, especially those who completed graduate work through the Geography-Earth Science Department.
