Roger L. and Konnie R. Serr
The Dr. Roger L. and Konnie R. Serr Men's Soccer Scholarship was established to support and enhance the men's soccer program at Shippensburg University.
Dr. Serr served Shippensburg University as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. He received his Bachelor's degree from Northern State University in South Dakota, his Master's degree from Western Illinois University, and his Doctorate from Michigan State University.
His love of soccer developed from his two sons who played club and high school soccer. Dr. Serr coached club soccer for several years and was instrumental in starting the Shippensburg Soccer Club.
Konnie R. Serr was a faculty member in the Teacher Education Department and also served as the first-grade teacher in the Grace B.Luhrs University Elementary School at Shippensburg University. She holds an Associate's degree from Northern State University, a Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University, and a Master's degree from Shippensburg University.
