David C. Boose
David C. and Beverly Boose met in a history class at Shippensburg State Teachers College. David served in the Air Force prior to his enrollment at SSTC where he earned both his undergraduate and masters degrees in history. He retired after an extensive career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Beverly also earned her undergraduate and masters degrees in elementary education from SSTC. She retired after 30 years of service to the Carlisle Area School District. David and Beverly shared a love of travel, music, and volunteering. David established this scholarship in Beverly's memory to demonstrate their appreciation to Shippensburg University and help deserving students majoring in history and elementary education.
