In honor of William “Bill” George McArthur:  Initially, Bill was hired at Shippensburg State College to teach just one term, but during that time fell in love with the area and his colleagues. He worked at Shippensburg for 27 years until his retirement in 1996. When the Shippensburg Mathematics department started a program in Computer Science, Bill began teaching computer science and computer programming. During his tenure at Shippensburg University, Bill coached the Shippensburg University computer programming team for about 10 years.
