Rohm and Haas Company
This scholarship fund was established with an initial contribution by the Rohm and Haas Company in 1991 in honor of Mr. Edward M. Szapacs being awarded the 1990 Otto Haas Award for Technical Excellence. Mr. Szapacs graduated from Shippensburg State College, having earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry in 1971 and 1972 respectively. He was awarded several patents for his work throughout his career.
