Mrs. Rosalind Simonetti
Anthony Simonetti is remembered as an extraordinary teammate, friend, brother, and son. He always gave 100% effort, dedication, and support. His actions consistently demonstrated his love for life and soccer.
Tony played soccer for Greencastle high school. As a sophomore in high school, he was selected to be a representative and player for the US Ambassadors Soccer Team. He was the youngest player selected to travel with the team to England, Holland, and Germany. He went on to be a standout player for Shippensburg University and a regular at the annual alumni.
Because of Tony’s love of soccer and memories that he created, the SU soccer program along with his friends and family, established the Simonetti Soccer Scholarship in his memory. Through this scholarship, Tony's legacy will live on forever.
