David and Linda Hoover
David and Linda Hoover graduated from Shippensburg University in 1973 with their bachelor degrees in education. They earned their master's degrees in education from Ship in 1977 and 1980 and later pursued their doctoral degrees. David retired as Superintendent of the West Perry School District and Linda retired as a Professor of Teacher Education at Shippensburg University. They established the Zachary J. Topper Memorial College of Business Scholarship in memory of their son, Zachary Topper (pictured), who graduated from Ship in 1998 and passed away in 2006.
