Michael and Nancy Pinkowicz
Michael Pinkowicz graduated from Shippensburg State College in 1976 having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education & business; however, after graduating had a successful career in the business world.
By attending Shippensburg, Michael feels he was given the opportunity to grow personally and intellectually. Through his classroom experience, involvement on campus with Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, friends, and work with the school radio station, Shippensburg provided Michael with a well-rounded education. Because of this, he has remained active with the University by contributing to the Shippensburg University Foundation, serving on the Alumni Board, and working with the Philadelphia Chapter of the Alumni Association.
Giving back to the University has been Michael's wish so that other students can have the "Shippensburg experience." Michael and Nancy established the Michael and Nancy Pinkowicz Business Scholarship prior to their wedding and in lieu of wedding gifts they requested that a contribution be made to their scholarship.
