William J. Morrison
Dr. William J. Morrison taught in the Biology Department at Shippensburg University for 29 years specializing in genetics. Before coming to Shippensburg University, he was engaged in genetics research as a postdoctoral research fellow at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. His pre- and postdoctoral research was supported by fellowships from the National Institutes of Health. His undergraduate education was supported by a scholarship from the State of New Jersey. It is with a strong feeling of gratitude, and the desire to provide financial support to students in need, that Dr. Morrison establishes this scholarship.
